Which option to pick
Take "Apply some pressure". It is the only one that hands over Intel.
What the operation puts to you, what each answer pays, and how it turned out. An option with two outcomes is one that can go wrong.
The Coil have been working with the Slugrats, who control Courtsilius' elaborate subterranean canal system and use it to move and hide their mysterious cargo. Someone in the undercity must know what they're planning. How should we gather intel?
AOffer a reward. Spread the word that we'll pay for information about the Coil.
Suddenly, everyone in the undercity claimed to be an expert. We sifted through the gossip to find some real news: the Coil's leader, Fathom herself, will soon make an appearance on Courtsilius, in the caverns under the Takali Canal.
BApply some pressure. Some of our operators can be very convincing.
Our team "convinced" a low-level Slugrat to tell us everything he knew about the Coil's plans on Courtsilius. Perhaps unsurprisingly, it wasn't much. But he did reveal something big: the Coil's leader, Fathom herself, will soon make an appearance on Courtsilius, in the caverns under the Takali Canal.

CAsk around. Send some personable operators to an undercity bar and see what they hear.
Our operators made some new friends, and gained some valuable intel: the Coil's leader, Fathom herself, will soon make an appearance on Courtsilius, in the caverns under the Takali Canal.
