Maridun
This inconspicuous world of vast savannahs and infrequent rainforests is home to the imposing Amani species. Due to its distance from well-established hyperlanes the planet has been largely ignored for thousands of years, though a brief skirmish between Republic and Separatist forces caused it to become more widely known to the galaxy.

The galaxy map builds its planets in a shader rather than shipping a picture of each one. This marble uses Maridun's own surface material: its land and sea gradients, its temperature, its sea level and its tint colours. The continents are generated, because the game generates those too.
Maridun is temperate plain and savanna, green and pleasant, with an ecosystem that will still kill the unprepared. The Amani are native, and a Lurmen village settled here to get away from the war.
