The choice
What the operation puts to you, what each answer pays, and how it turned out. An option with two outcomes is one that can go wrong.
Our team has confirmed that Umbaran Partisan leader Rhy Cesca is headed offworld for a secret meeting with the Republic. We suspect that Fathom is planning to sabotage this meeting and we have been searching for its location, but Bennic can't help us: it's so highly classified that even his superiors don't know about it. Time to look for sources on the other side. Who should we ask for help locating the secret Umbaran prisoner exchange?
ARuna's connection. Runa knows someone at the Techno Union who can help, for a price.
Runa's connection, a Techno Union engineer, seemed a little too interested in Zero Company. But they were good for the money: they used their corporate subspace network to trace the Umbaran prisoner exchange to the highly secure tibanna gas mining station Storm Basin, on the neutral world of Bespin. They also tipped us off to an opportunity for a targeted strike to stop the Coil from growing stronger. Our team needs time to find a way to infiltrate Storm Basin.
BNeesh's connection. Neesh knows someone at the Black Sun Syndicate, but warns us they aren't exactly close friends.
Neesh's connection, an imposing Black Sun Syndicate lieutenant, tapped his underworld sources and reported that the Umbaran prisoner exchange will take place at the highly secure tibanna gas mining station Storm Basin, on the neutral world of Bespin. He also tipped us off to an opportunity for a targeted strike to stop the Coil from growing stronger. When we tried to thank him, he demurred: maybe we'll do him a favor someday. Our team needs time to find a way to infiltrate the station.
