By listening in on Umbaran comms chatter, our team learned that Fathom has made contact with the Umbaran Partisans, a guerrilla group dedicated to violently resisting the Republic occupation of Umbara. They also intercepted an encrypted Coil transmission, which we can use to get ahead of them while we continue investigating the Umbaran Partisans' leader: Rhy Cesca.
The choice
In the recording we salvaged from the mechno-chair, Fathom referenced a meeting with the Shadow People - Umbarans. Once a Separatist world, Umbara returned to Republic control after bitter fighting and now remains under Republic occupation.
