The Entropian Hive is a trading post built into a large asteroid, infamous as a black-market hub that attracts all manner of smugglers, outlaws, and gangsters.

The galaxy map builds its planets in a shader rather than shipping a picture of each one. This marble uses Entropian Hive's own surface material: its land and sea gradients, its temperature, its sea level and its tint colours. The continents are generated, because the game generates those too.
Galactic record
It answers to its own Trading Council rather than to any government, which is the whole appeal. The Cerean Reach runs past it, so what comes through does not have to explain itself.
