Due to its enormous amount of sea life, and the tremendous coral reef across the entire planet, Pillio is an oceanic world. As a primary source for food in the Jinata System, Pillio is a very profitable destination for feuding Mon Calamari and Nautolan fishing companies.

The galaxy map builds its planets in a shader rather than shipping a picture of each one. This marble uses Pillio's own surface material: its land and sea gradients, its temperature, its sea level and its tint colours. The continents are generated, because the game generates those too.
Pillio was never colonised, which is why more than three million species still live on it and a coral reef runs most of the way around the planet. The Emperor put one of his observatories here anyway.
