Ansion

Featuring rolling prairies and fair weather, the world of Ansion was withdrawn from galactic goings-on for much of its history. During the Separatist Crisis that preceeded the outbreak of the Clone Wars, a border dispute on this planet almost led to its secession from the Republic.

The galaxy map builds its planets in a shader rather than shipping a picture of each one. This marble uses Ansion's own surface material: its land and sea gradients, its temperature, its sea level and its tint colours. The continents are generated, because the game generates those too.

Ansion sits where the Namadii Corridor meets another route, which is the whole of its strategic value and enough for the Empire to base itself there.
