Geonosis
This world has been a flashpoint in the Clone Wars. It was once the primary manufactory for battle droids, but has been repeatedly punished in a series of major conflicts.

The galaxy map builds its planets in a shader rather than shipping a picture of each one. This marble uses Geonosis's own surface material: its land and sea gradients, its temperature, its sea level and its tint colours. The continents are generated, because the game generates those too.
Galactic record
Geonosis built the droid army. Its hives run foundries below the desert, and the Stalgasin hive spoke for the planet when the Confederacy formed. The first battle of the Clone Wars was fought on this surface and the Republic occupied it afterwards.
