The galaxy map builds its planets in a shader rather than shipping a picture of each one. This marble uses Socorro's own surface material: its land and sea gradients, its temperature, its sea level and its tint colours. The continents are generated, because the game generates those too.

Galactic record

Socorro is desert, and its best known export is Lando Calrissian. The Empire held it and kept a defence platform in orbit, which is more attention than the surface warrants.
