Thyferra

Thyferra is a humid jungle planet where most of the galaxy's bacta is synthesized. Long ago, off-world settlers exploited the native Vratix in order to export bacta to the rest of the galaxy, leading to its now ubiquitous presence in medical treatment.

The galaxy map builds its planets in a shader rather than shipping a picture of each one. This marble uses Thyferra's own surface material: its land and sea gradients, its temperature, its sea level and its tint colours. The continents are generated, because the game generates those too.

Galactic record

Thyferra makes bacta, and bacta is the reason wounded people across the galaxy survive. The Vratix invented it and the planet has been fought over for it since.
