The galaxy map builds its planets in a shader rather than shipping a picture of each one. This marble uses Utapau's own surface material: its land and sea gradients, its temperature, its sea level and its tint colours. The continents are generated, because the game generates those too.
Galactic record
Utapau's people live in its sinkholes. The surface is windswept rock and grass with little to recommend it, so the Pau'an and the Utai built their cities down the walls of the great holes instead. The planet stayed largely isolated until the Clone Wars found it.
