Ando PrimeThe planet of Ando Prime is snowy and mountainous, home to the Talid species. In the distant past, the monastic order known as the Dai Bendu maintained a strong presence here; now the planet is a popular destination for podracing, leveraging the hostile terrain to organize thrilling races.BardanBothawuiA ringed gas giant in the Both system, this planet's asteroid belt was the site of large battle between Republic and Separatist starships early on in the war. Following its victory, the Republic has maintained a defensive presence in the region.Derra IVThe world of Derra IV is covered in expansive swamps and muddy lakes. The larger settlements of the planet are built on elevated platforms above the marshes, while fishing villages gather on the rare sections of dry land found amidst the murk.FalleenFalleen is a warm planet featuring jungles and plains, homeworld of the Falleen species. The Republic suffered a resounding defeat here towards the beginning of the Clone Wars, and the planet has since been under firm Separatist control.KerkoidiaKerkoidia is a Separatist-aligned planet comprised of sprawling blue grasslands. The society of the native Kerkoidens largely revolves around trade and wealth, and Kerkoidian organizations such as the Retail Caucus provide substantial financial backing to the CIS.MalastareLocated in the galaxy's Mid Rim, Malastare was the homeworld of the irascible Dugs, who proved loyal but difficult members of the Galactic Republic. The planet's extensive fuel reserves made it vital to the Republic war machine, and it became a critical battlefield during the Clone Wars. As a result of a massive ground battle between the Republic and the Separatists, a monstrous creature known as the Zillo Beast was released in Malastare.MandaThe world of Manda is largely desertous, with a number of sprawling cities clustered around space ports. A merchant family called the Baobabs has long held control of this planet, pursuing trade and knowledge in equal parts to support their large merchant fleets and their renowned archives.MimbanMimban is a world comprised almost entirely of muddy plains and swamps. The planet was invaded by Separatist forces early in the Clone Wars, but they were repelled by the native Mimbanese species and Republic forces.Mon GazzaA polluted world of red rocks and sands, Mon Gazza has been heavily mined over the millenia thanks to its abundance of unrefined spice. While the Pyke Syndicate holds the largest sway over the planet, there are numerous other underworld organizations seeking control, and gang warfare remains a common and constant hazard.NabooNaboo's surface consists of swampy lakes, rolling plains and green hills. Its population centers are beautiful -- Naboo's river cities are filled with classical architecture and greenery, while the underwater Gungan settlements are a beautiful display of exotic hydrostatic bubble technology.Nanth'riThe trade-world of Nanth'ri boasts some of the busiest markets in the galaxy. Almost half of the planet's surface consists of expansive cities, while the rest is covered by tall red-orange grasslands.Nexus OrtaiNexus Ortai is a densely forested world in the Mid Rim, located at the intersection of two hyperspace lanes. The once-peaceful planet's strategic position led to a large conflict between Republic and Separatist forces; following a Separatist victory, the planet was invaded and has been occupied since.PasaanaA harsh planet of dunes and mesas, Pasaana is home to the Aki-Aki species. The world receives very little in the way of attention and travelers, owing to its remoteness and desertous surface, though the Aki-Aki's infrequent cultural events do draw some visitors.VandorThe vast mountain ranges covering Vandor's surface are treacherous and largely impassable, buffeted by frigid gales and vicious blizzards. It is an inhospitible world to say the least; despite this, a number of settlements have managed to entrench themselves amidst the mountains.
