Abafar
A remote world in the Outer Rim Territories, Abafar is scarcely populated. It is dominated by vast stretches of featureless desert under oppressive orange skies. Particulates in the atmosphere cause the sunlight to diffuse into a uniform orange glow, so it is nearly impossible to tell direction or time of day.

The galaxy map builds its planets in a shader rather than shipping a picture of each one. This marble uses Abafar's own surface material: its land and sea gradients, its temperature, its sea level and its tint colours. The continents are generated, because the game generates those too.
Abafar sits on top of rhydonium, a fuel volatile enough to be worth crossing a featureless desert for. Pons Ora is the only settlement of consequence, and the Separatists took an interest for obvious reasons.
