Alpinn's surface is covered in a layer of minerals, making it bright white in appearance.

The galaxy map builds its planets in a shader rather than shipping a picture of each one. This marble uses Alpinn's own surface material: its land and sea gradients, its temperature, its sea level and its tint colours. The continents are generated, because the game generates those too.
Galactic record
Alpinn reflects light in realspace because of what is buried in it, which is why kyber crystal surveys have gone there. An archaeology camp works the site.
