Gyndine

The forest world of Gyndine is one of the largest commercial hubs in the Expansion Region. While the planet is technically aligned with the Republic, it's commonly believed that the Hutt cartels rule Gyndine from the shadows by controlling its economy.

The galaxy map builds its planets in a shader rather than shipping a picture of each one. This marble uses Gyndine's own surface material: its land and sea gradients, its temperature, its sea level and its tint colours. The continents are generated, because the game generates those too.

Galactic record

Gyndine has shipyards and an Imperial administration on the Nanth'ri Trade Route. The yards are the reason anyone bothers with it.
