Mandalore
Once a glorious world, the surface of Mandalore was laid waste by war, leading Duchess Satine Kryze to renounce the planet's violent history and declare neutrality in the Clone Wars. Satine's pacifism is opposed by Death Watch, an underground movement of armored warriors that celebrate Mandalore's martial past and seek to overthrow her.

The galaxy map builds its planets in a shader rather than shipping a picture of each one. This marble uses Mandalore's own surface material: its land and sea gradients, its temperature, its sea level and its tint colours. The continents are generated, because the game generates those too.
Mandalore is the Mandalorian homeworld, and the clans have argued over how to live on it for as long as anyone has kept records. The New Mandalorians held it as a pacifist state, the Shadow Collective took it from them, and the Empire's purge left the surface storm-scoured with its old forests and seas gone.
