The galaxy map builds its planets in a shader rather than shipping a picture of each one. This marble uses Ringo Vinda's own surface material: its land and sea gradients, its temperature, its sea level and its tint colours. The continents are generated, because the game generates those too.
Galactic record
Ringo Vinda is wrapped in a graving dock so large it circles the entire planet. The station is the reason anyone goes; the world inside it is incidental.
