Often called the "Shadow World" due to its complete lack of sunlight, this isolated planet is unique for its oppresive darkness and bioluminescent plant life. After seceeding from the Republic midway through the Clone Wars, Umbara was invaded by Republic forces; though it came at an extremely high cost, control of Umbara was ultimately won by the Republic.
