A dry planet of rocky canyons and deserts, Ruusan is an isolated world far from any major hyperlanes. In the distant past, a war between the Jedi and the Sith concluded on Ruusan; now, only a scant population of farmers and miners inhabits this world.

The galaxy map builds its planets in a shader rather than shipping a picture of each one. This marble uses Ruusan's own surface material: its land and sea gradients, its temperature, its sea level and its tint colours. The continents are generated, because the game generates those too.
Galactic record
Ruusan is canyon, cave, desert and lake under three moons. The Confederacy claimed it during the Clone Wars; the Ruusanians who live there had little say in it.
