Shantipole
Shantipole features a turbulent atmosphere of swirling gas and lightning storms, with large spires of stone jutting upwards into the sky. Numerous gas mining operations have come to process Shantipole's rich atmosphere, though none have been willing to brave the planet's storms long enough to set up permanent facilities.

The galaxy map builds its planets in a shader rather than shipping a picture of each one. This marble uses Shantipole's own surface material: its land and sea gradients, its temperature, its sea level and its tint colours. The continents are generated, because the game generates those too.
Shantipole is mountain spire and violent atmosphere, and pilots who go in do not reliably come out. Its rare gases are worth the risk to some.
